Hi there,

Hope someone can help. I bought an old Diamond View Monitor. 21" but when I connected it, the colours on screen are all over the place..Im running Windows Xp Home

Does your computer display the proper colors with another monitor? if it doesn't then it's an issue with your computers graphics

Also most monitors will have an option to reset the settings. You would have to navigate using the buttons on the monitor.

Also you did buy this used so it could have already been broken.

Yes I did buy it 2nd hand but the seller assures me it was aok.
Yes- I simply connected my old monitor back up and it is fine.
I tried to adjust things from the monitor menu but there wasnt a great deal of options....degauss, up and down horizontal etc....and brightness etc...
All to no avail...
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Boot up in safe mode and save the display settings. Then reboot in normal mode. The screen resolution should be 800 x 600 and may show a better picture.
