After trying to install a new epson printer that my son bought for me, I got this error message. Now my computer boots up to a blue screen with this cdmninst message. When I close,(ignore does nothing) it says commcntrl.dll will now close. Then it's back to the blue screen.I got into safe mode and in add/remove, deleted all the epson programs I could. I also disabled all the devices microsoft support recommended. Didn't help. The only restore point I have is after it all happened so that won't help. I have a gateway restore disk but not a windows ME disk.Is there any other way around this.

That's the first thing I tried. It didn't work.
