Checksum Error

ok, this is my problem..i was messing with my computer. i took it apart, and put it back together, and now i have a checksum error. before my bios even give me a chance to go into the bios, it gives me a checksum error, looking for the floppy drive, then asking to insert system disk and hit enter. my computer now sits in my room, useless..i dont know what is wrong.. please help!

You seems to have a problem with your mother board Bios ,suggest go into CMOS and load optimal setting ,save and exit. bye

Be sure you plugged in everything correctly and that is wel-seated. You say you can't go into the bios, did you got the bios-chips out to? ->same as above. Perhaps you could try resetting the CMOS (remove a jumpre somewhere, look in your manual). Or getting out the bios-battery...
