Could someone please tell me how to change the operating system on my computer. I currently have Windows ME and would like to put on Windows XP.

I would sugest you have a good look at your hardware first, before trying to install xp.

Your post said cpu/ram 60 what does that mean ???

IF IT AINT BROKE, DONT FIX IT

If you have bought the WinXP CD try this...
the installation will check for your hardware and notify you with the components which are not supported by XP.
If you have not yet bought XP then please check system requirements before you go for it.
