A friend has asked me if is possible to change the language of Windows ME.

The problem is that it is a laptop computer that was purchased in Japan and consequently the whole system is in Japanese..... Is it possible to change the language into English?? Or would she need to buy a copy of Windows in the UK??

Any help would be much appreciated!!

If she wants an English language version of ME then she'll have to buy an English language version of ME I'm afraid.
