When I insert a CD of any kind it will not start playing unless I click on the icon. Can you help a learner please. I have ticked Autoinsert notification and Downloaded Tweak UI and clicked on paranoia autoplay But still no luck

As far as I know, it seems you did the right thing there so I'm not sure why it still won't work for you. Maybe someone more knowledgable than me will be able to help you. The autoinsert notification should do the trick. Did you reboot after you checked the autoinsert option? You have to reboot after making such changes for those changes to take effect.
