Comment: I have a CD-RW and a DVD-ROM, recently, my CD-RW is acting funny, it opens and closes like crazy. I dont know why it does that, but its driving me crazy, it does it randomly, sometimes it sits still for 2 hrs. and other times for only 5 min. Please help. I never had this problem.

Reply: (edit)try reinstalling the drivers again and i recoomend getting an awsome Cd creation program called Raxio easy cd creator 5. works great wont skip any files and make the cd-rw work great

Reply: (edit)I currently have the raxio easy CD creator 5 program and I have yet to create a flawless CD. I thought it was the burner not the program but the Dell service representitive told me to reinstall this program first. She thinks it is a flaw in the program.
