Hi there it seems my cd/rom drive is failing me every time i put in disc the drive does not recognise i double click on drive d but it just comes up please insert disk. Any ideas.

Have you used a CD Lens Cleaner CD ???

Replace CD rom if dropping it a few times does not fix it.
