- Hello,"PLEASE HELP!" here's my problem:
(*) I've just installed 'Windows Me' via 'Windows 95'; And when 'Windows Me'setup was nearly finished, I received this message on a blue screen:

" Your multi-function device(VIA Bus Master PCI IDE controller) has some child devices using 32-bit drivers and others using compatibility-Mode drivers.
This configuration is not supported, so your computer has been halted to prevent corruption.

After you restar your computer, windows will use compatibility-Mode drivers for each child device attached to this multi-function device.

If you want to use 32-bit drivers, you may be able to obtain an update for the device that caused the problem by contacting your hardware manufacture, or you can disable the device. "

(*) Then I noticed that:

1-> my CD-Rom drive letter was Lost !
(I am Unable to get access to it, under Windows Me.)

2-> That there was 2 exclamation point on:
(Start/Settings/ControlPanel/System/Device manager/:

/Hard disk Controller//[ Primary & secondary IDE Controller(dual fifo) ])

3-> And finally, it's saying in:
(Start/Settings/ControlPanel/System/Performance/:

/[Compatibility-mode paging reduces overall system performance./
/Drive C(D & E) is using MS-DOS compatibility mode file system]).

Note: I've two HDD drive, the second is partionned in 2, wich mean that I've C,D&E.
and of course a CD-rom, wich i can't access right now due to the problem I've just explained.

(*) Thank You for reading, 'I would apreciate any help !!'

Thanx to 'Kevin The Tech Dude' who tried to help me ,
*_Hey kevin, is there any thing elses i can do ?? -By the way- what's your E-mail?

Once again thanx. PLEASE HELP !!
