I have the program Adapter Cd Creator 4.0 that does different things like Copy Cd, and Easy Cd Creator, Cd Jewel Case Creator. When I click the Cd Jewel Case Creator it comes up an box that says cdjewel has caused an error in MFC42.Dll Cdjewel will now close. If you continue to experience problems try restarting your computer. I have tried to replace it from my backup cd's that I burned and it will not let me move it or delete it or anything. This MFC42.Dll is one of the Visual C+++ or one of the share library files. What do I need to do about this error and with this MFC42.Dll to exchange or replace and how. Thank you BJ

If I remember correctly... (I am getting on a bit !)Windows ME required the minimun version CD Creator 4.02b. You would have to up-date the standard version with downloadable patches. Check the site to see if I am correct and post back what you find for others to see....
www.roxio.com
If this is the case... I did see on this site a web address where you can get old versions of programs with the patches etc.
I don't remember the post or address but you could try searching with key words such as - old progs - etc

The update link for ECDC;

IS HERE

And the "Old Version" link;(Although I don't see any Adaptec references)

http://www.oldversion.com/

Or,you might simply try an uninstall/re-install...

The original version always never ran properly, messed up/never completed my burned cds, hanging. Did the upgrade, still had problems. Came to conclusion it was an ME problem.

So I got version 5 and now have no problems at all, is much quicker, more features. Love it.
