Comment:
i have cd wr, but when i burn audio disks i cannot listen to them on regular cd players. i download music in mp3 formart then convert them into .wav format but it doesn't work anyway and when i listen to my burned cd using cd rom it says that all files in .cda format. I can't understand it .I use musicmatch box to burn cds .Another problem is that software that came with cd wr is not working too that's why i use musicmatch box.The program is Nero 5.0. When i click on any command button it is just not operate and affect cd wr at all as if there is no cd wr device . For example when i click burn cd it shows me that cd burning prosess is in progress but it is not burning my disc. i'm tired of this so help me please.........
No need to convert mp3's into wav. In adaptec you choose to create an audio cd select the mp3's and adaptec converts it into .cda so it can be played back. Im not sure how nero works exactly but i assume there is a similar feature.

nero will also let you burn mp3 directly to cda format if you choose to create a new audio compilation. i suspect you have create image file checked when you are trying to burn so you are making an image file on your hardrive and not actually burning to a cd. check out http://www.cdrinfo.com you should be able to find some general burning tips there. if you were making image files, then you will have a number of large .nra or .nrg files from nero which are basically copies of cds on your harddrive so do a search for these files and hopefully you can figure out which ones you dont need, and which ones you want to burn to cd (in nero click on file and then burn image and search for the image to burn) get rid on the images you dont need any more as they are just taking up harddrive space. good luck
