Comment:

I recently changed from windows 98se to windows me. After doing this, I now have lost my sound out of the headphone jack on my cd-r drive. If I use the button on the front of the drive, the headphone jack plays fine. It worked before, what has changed?

Go to this site for fix. http://www.plextor.com/english/support/faqs/SW00003.htm
Apparently you have to turn off the digital play feature in the device hardware properties AND in the MS Media Player. It works.
