CD player can't read CDs

For some reason my CD-ROM won't recognize that a CD is loaded. Everytime I try to run a Cd it prompts me to load the CD!

Yeah I guess i'll try and clean it or replace it.
I should mention that i just reformatted and reinstalled WIN ME on my computer...
Could that have something to do with it.
I checked the device manager and there were no exclamation points so hopefully it's just dusty or something...

It works!
I figured out how to fix this and all I had to do was go to the device manager, click on the cd drive, then double click on the drive type. There was a tab to update driver. I clicked on it and now it works fine!
Geez..I feel stupid now.
I figured I'd post how I fixed it though in case anyone else has a similar issue...
