Hi
i've been getting errors on my cd-drives lately. I can't find the drives in "My Computer" (I have a DVD drive and a CD-RW on my computer) I have tried everything.
Including Reinstalling, updating , uninstalling,etc....
But no matter what I do, everytime I go in My Computer, their are no CD drives, only the C and the A drive.
When I got to device manager, I got to this error:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)I don't know if something is wrong with the jumpers or not. How do I check??

I like to help you.
Open your Computer Case and checke that your DVD and CD drive cables are connected correctly.
If that doesn't work you can choose to buy a new computer that will work.I hope I really helped you.
ME and 112 ram?

Use a bootdisk with cdrom support to see if it detects your drive. That should tell you if it is a hardware or software issue.
