Hi i've been getting errors on my cd-drives lately. I can't find the drives in "My Computer" (I have a DVD drive and a CD-RW on my computer) I have tried everything. Including Reinstalling, updating , uninstalling,etc.... But no matter what I do, everytime I go in My Computer, their are no CD drives, only the C and the A drive. When I got to device manager, I got to this error: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) I don't know if something is wrong with the jumpers or not. How do I check??

hello try a new ide cable. allso make sure jumpers are in proper places. update via chip drivers.
