can't transfer file on msn messanger

hi, i can't seem to upload files to my friends from msn messanger or icq it just says , transfer canceled or something, i'm sharing cable internet to two computer in my house, iam on the client computer. is it just a setting of some kind? Please help me

Well if the internet works, and you can't send to THEM, its most likely they have a firewall or something there. Also, you may have problems with them sending to you, however, on icq if you're sharing the internet because I find that problem too with ICQ. For some reason the internet sharing wizard does something that makes it kinda awkward on ICQ. It might be just me but that's what i think.
