Cant set display color depth above 16 co

I just installed ME on my HP Pavilion 3265. The vidio adapter is onboard. When i go into display properties, i cant set the color depth above 16 colors. I am having this problem on multiple computers. i think its an ME thing. I need HELP ASAP
It's a driver thing. The right driver for your on-board video is not installed. You could even have the wrong adapter loaded. "ATI's RAGE PRO TURBO" is your video adapter, or should be, make sure under display adapters in the device manager tab when you right click on my computer and goto properties it say the above. Also make sure the correct driver is loaded by going to ATI's site you can try HP but w/ the whole Compaq thing happening I'm that site is a mess.
