I have a file correption in my scanner soft ware, I can't remove to reinstall, Is there another way to remove or uninstall other than the common way (add/remove) ?

some programs have uninstall options much like the add remove programs. if there is no uninstall and the add/remove programs doesnt work you can delete the folder. then search for any files you missed and delete them. then its a good idea to run windoctor to clean up any errors you created. this is one way but believe me there are a lot more knowledgable people on the site so see what they suggest.
Summary: My guess is, if you try again now, they will probably be deleted. Often programs lock the files which are in use, and so they can't be deleted. Otherwise... if you installed a program, then use the ad...
