Hello friends I have a important letter and i need to open it right away. I could open it with MS works but someone took msworks from my computer. I dont have another msworks to reinstall it. Ms Office cant even open it either. The type of file is wps. oh me nurves please help me soon. Thank you friends for your help. Its me Linda

Hi, What version of MS Office and MS Word are you using. MS Word XP will certainly open a *.wps file. WHen you go to open th efile select the file type from the drop down menu below the file name box You might try the MS Word reader program which could help If not look at one of the MS Office compatible offic esuites such as Open office, which should open it. hth Ceri

Open Office 1.1.1 will read .wps files from WPS 2000/Office. It will not open .wks tho' Iligitimi non carborundum est

tell them to resend it as a TXT file.
