It is something I only see in Google Groups
(Iam running WinME and IE6)
When I open a thread the actual message are compressed into a thin column that I can omly see if I scroll across. (the tree is OK)
Three quarters of the screen is blank (not black or white but a coloured background) and of course those Google Groups websites use frames I think.
I have tried viewing in full screen, changing text size ,altering screen resolution ,running a scan and have erased History but to no efect. As this problem has been here since yesterday it looks like it is nothing to do with Google Groups itself.
Any ideas?

Well (Ms Fretwell), you might consider trying alternative browsers such as Firefox or Opera to determine if the fault lies with IE
Other things to try might be clearing the TIF folder or performing a repair of IE via 'add/remove'
I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter

I tried Firefox and though it was better there was still a problem with the frames being too small or hidden.
I have previously tried viewing in full screen, changing text size ,altering screen resolution ,running a scan ,erasing History and now TIF following your suggestion.
As I did a reistall of WinME also I think that covers your suggestion regarding repairing IE.
I am beginning to think that Google Groups may have been redesigned with larger screens in mind (I have a 15 inch screen)

Problem is solved!
Now it has come back OK.
All that I did extra was to reboot after I deleted the TIF (I thought deleting them was enough but maybe the reboot was also required)
