Hi;

My name is Steven Whitehouse. I'm unable
to play ms-dos games such as SF1 & SF2 to
run in windowsme while using the ms-dos
prompt window. I did the correct things in
ms-dos prompt. Like, checking prevent ms-
dos from detecting windows and close on
exit. I also changed the screen from min
view to full view. But when I go an load
SF1 & SF2 which are dos games. It reads
Illegal Operation messages. My Question
is? what else do I need to do so I can
play ms-dos games in ms-dos prompt?

win me doesnt contain dos the way 98 did so you wont be able to play dos games. go back to 98 for that. Or else create a dos 6.2 boot disk.

had the same problem and over came it with a few clicks install game and go to find put in name of game when it comes up find the set up not the short cut or notepad click on it tell it to set up then change your screen to 640x480 that all have fun ifu need more help ask
