Cant play DVD's on PC

I have MGIsoftDVD installed but it won't play my DVD'S. It recognises the DVD but I keep getting the error "Video rendering failure". Can anybody please help?

Alan you might try this support page to start your search, though its a fix for XP users, it does site the same problem with video rendering failure, and what to do about it.
