Hi, I cannot open any program on my computer, except for Explorer. Whenever I try to open a program I get the following message "(program) has caused an error in one of the following: user.exe/kernel32.dll/KRNL.exe, (program) will now close. If someone could help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

It might be a viral problem, it might not be. I suggest you .... Click Start/Run
And type RegSvr32 Kernel32.dll and click ok.
This should re-register the Kernel32.dll. If that doesnt do anything, try getting the .dll from Www.Dll-Files.comSearch for Kernel32 and download a clean copy of it. Save it to your desktop, Unzip it with Winzip or what ever, and extract the .dll to the C:Windows/System Folder. It will say, replace [whatever] with [whatever]
Click yes.If your current Kernel32.dll is damaged or corrupted, then its best you replace it as Ive told you how.
The Reason why you cannot open any programs is because, Kernel32.dll is your RAM or Memory Managment process. With out it, no programs open for you!
Hope this helped.
