Can't open CD-RW's/CD-R's on CD-ROM

Comment:
I cannot open most burned CD's on my CD-Rom, even though I can on other normal CD-roms. I have been able to open some, but those I copied files onto, cannot open. Does anyone know how to ammend this problem?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I also tried installing the UDF reader to allow normal CD-Rom's to open CD-RW's and CD-R's, but it did nothing. Or does anyone know how I can make it work?

It'll largely depend on the cd-rom drive as to whether or not it can read them. Most older drives won't read cd-r.
However, you may try finalizing the cd-r once you burn it, as that's what works for me when I use them in my older system. If it isn't finalized , it cannot read them at all, finalize them and there's no trouble. I suspect your problem is as such.
