I have a little card reader box that I use for my embroidery sewing machine. It connects to the USB port of my machine, and the driver is on a CD. I can't load the driver. My computer recognizes there is a new device, and it goes searching for the driver, and it does nothing. Doesn't even get hung up. Just nothing. I tried several different paths to do it, and each time, nothing. I tried to load it on to my husband's laptop (which runs Windows NT) and had no problem.
What could prevent me from loading a simple USB device driver? I am not a computer expert, so be patient with me. :)
