After changing motherboard and CPU i can`t install many games.Whan i start setup.exe programs i get error messages.I think it is related with c:\Windows\temp folder.After i tried to install a game i checked c:\ disk with Norton Disk Doctor and when it did Directory structure test i got a message that files or folders in c:\windows\temp folder have invalid dates and timestamps.Windows says that all files in c:\ disk are created in 1979 12 31.How to solve my problem ?

Hope you are running Norton 2001. That was a problem with older versions. Go into windows explorer and remove everything in windows\temp and delete it. Then make sure your clock is ok. You may have to reinstall everything.

in scandisk -advanced-check the box that says check files for invalid dates and times-then run scandisk autofix and standard checked.

I think i can`t install games because i have some problems with c:\windows\temp directory,because sometimes setup.exe programs tell that temporary files,which was created by the instalation programs,are corrupt.

do as tech2 says and delete the contents of c:\windows\temp and any other temp stores. note: it sometimes payes to delete all temp files before installing such games as some of them do not over write and delete existing temp files.
