I bought two Creative Live Pro webcams. Had no problem setting up one on XP, but I can't install the other on an ME system. In the installation, I'm asked for the ME disk (which I never got from Circuit City when I bought the Vaio with ME installed); the needed files are not identified (so Creative can't help) and I can't find anything on the Microsoft or Sony sites about this problem. Can anyone help? Thanks lots.

DallasMc,

Just a question, well maybe more than one
;-)

Are your OS install files visible? By that, do a search of your hard drive for *.cab When it's completed. Look to see if it found files named;

win_10.cab
win_11.cab
win_12.cab
ect.-ect. starting with the win_than a number.cab

If they're found. Write down the address to the folder they're in. Examples would be;
c:\windows\options\install
or
c:\windows\options\cabs

If they're found and you know the address to them. When you do the install. Just point/browse the install to that address/folder. It should then, continue with the install.

Give it a try.

Good Luck,
CrazyOne
