Can't get to symantec.com

WinME, small LAN w/ISDN modem. All internet functions work except symantec.com. This is not a virus. Same result on new clean PC with nothing but Windows & MS Office installed. Same before & after installed NAV. Any suggestions?

That really sounds a lot like w95.sircam or w95.mtx. I'm not sure if Nimda does this either. If it does Nimda may be on your proxy.

http://208.226.167.17 is their ip ,but I didn't get a response that way. to get the latest virus definitions you can try Download the Virus Update Definition Installer from the Tucows Web site. 1. Point your browser to http://www.tucows.com. 2. In the Search Software Library box, type norton dat and then click GO!

Thanks for the above messages. I know the sites is not down. I know it is not a virus. I download virus files from home, so that's not a problem. And we don't have a proxy. This is really a frustrating problem. Nobody, including Symantec, seems to have a clue.
