Steven forgive me if youve already done this but a few months ago this happened to me and I discovered all it was was the speaker cable connection in back of the case had become loose.

Be kind, walk tall and smile more....

Any errors in device manager? If not..
Verify the speakers work by trying them with another PC.
Verify whether or not you have the speakers plugged into the correct port on the sound card.
Verify all audio adjustments are turned all the way up.
RealPlayer
WindowsMediaPlayer
Multimedia Keyboard
System volume etc.
Verify you do not have the master volume muted by double clicking the speaker icon in the system tray and making sure the mute button is unchecked.
What is your audio source? If its a CD verify the Audio cable from the cd or dvdrom is connected properly to the sound card.
Thats all i got :)

I find that if I clean the wax out of my ears from time to time it helps. LOL! Just kidding... I crack myself up.

Anywayz...

Make sure you check the device manager and see if you have any of 'dem cute little exclamation marks next to your sound card. If you do, remove the card in the device mangler, shut down the comp, remove the card, start the comp back up and then shut it back down, then put the card in and install it.

HopeYaFixIt,

When I frist recieved my PC running Windows Me , I had sound problems ! Sometimes sound ,most of the time no sound . There was no ! mark in device manager . I found out I had intergrated sound on my motherboard. I tried trouble shooting it with support for a couple of weeks . finally I installed a sound card and never had a problem since. My brother purchased a simular PC as mine , same problem with sound Good Luck
