You need to access your BIOS and see what your motherboard speed is.
That will be the RAM speed.
Your system operates at the slowest speed of any given componet on your system.

Usally RAM is backwards compatible ,for instancse a 133 should work in 100 PC ,however it will still run at 100 ! When I upgraded from 128MB SDRAM to 256MB's , I used 2 128MB 133 SDRAM by PNY on my 100 system and it worked without any probs .The best thing would be to get the on line manual for your M.B. If you dont have one .See what it says about RAM ,some systems are picky about the quality of the RAM being used !
Good Luck ,Nick

What you need to know is the maker of the computer and model number if it is a name brand machine, or the manufacturer of the motherboard and its model number. Then you can use the memory finder at the Crucial website to identify what ram to order for your computer.
