Can't find config files!?

After cleaning up the HD I got a message when starting up "can't find config files" Does anyone know how to re-install ME? I have a 4 particians and dual OS's (ME/2K). Once in practically everything is toast. Programs are missing or don't start etc..

The config files o Windows ME asks you are Win.ini System.ini... and other. If you want to know what are this files run MSCONFIG in "start -> run ..." and type MSCONFIG.
