can't few avi files only sound

I've WinME and can't few any avi files. I only get the sound but no movie pictures. Any idea why or what I can do?

your media player needs avi codec ,check that.

you do need codecs you can get them at these link. http://www.divxmovies.com
d/l what you need install reboot

Great Site !

Just signed on - 'cos I too had sound only for some naughty AVI files - no movement !

Followed codec website download - as advised by 'Response 2'

et Voila !

Not sure wife would approve though!
