can't erase burnt cd

I can't figure out how to erase a burnt cd and it is getting on my nerves please help me.

You can not erase a cdr only cdrw can be erased. If your trying to erase a cdr it is impossable

to erase a cdrw, right click cdrw drive(in my computer icon) and choose format or erase.

If you have been trying to erase a CDRW and it wasn't working, then either your burner isn't capable of handeling CDRWs or your CDRWs are crap.

u may have to install cd formating prog. to erase cd/rw. what sofware have u got to burn your cdr ??
