can't connect with WinMX

Is anyone else having a problem connecting with WinMX? I have been trying to get on for the past couple of days. Everytime I try, I can't ever get it to finish connecting. Is anyone else able to get online with it?

Do you have zone alarm running?If so that gave me problems too.

No, no zone alarm. I have WinMX 3.1, did you get the 3.2, Ger? Did you uninstall the 3.1 before installing the 3.2, if that is the version you're referring to downloading?
As long as 3.1 isn't currently running, you just install 3.2 and it updates over 3.1. It still keeps all your original settings. I really don't know if upgrading did the trick or if it was just coincidence. It did finally connect right away though, where before it would just sit there trying to connect forever.
Hi. Install but have your PC on-line with ZoneAlarm running.. It will scan and set up properly then. Col

Okay, thanks, guys. Downloaded and installed the 3.2 and now it's working again. Weird, I had the 2.6 for weeks after 3.1 came out, and it would still work. As soon as the 3.2 became available, the 3.1 quit working.
