CANNOT INSTALL audigy2 value

i am getting the following error message when i try to install soundblaster audigy 2 value,,,,"mspqm.sys was not found"..the mspqm.sys file is in fact there in my windows\system32\drivers,,,where it should be.

miltk, SWAG, is it possible that it's following a different (wrong) path trying to locate the driver? HTH. Ed in Texas.

i'm no techie on this,,,but after the first failed install, i opted to point the install directly to the driver folder from the soundblaster cd. i think it knows where the driver is, but not this mspqm file.
