and i have cleared all of my cookies in the windows folder, and cleared the temp folder but no luck
any help please

Have you configured your IE browser to run through AOL?
I don't know about the newer version of AOL (shudder) but, the older versions, the IE Explorer had to be config'd to run through AOL.
Try running the internet connect wizard and see if it has a option for running it through AOL.

Kevster,
Sounds like the problem may be with the browser settings (might be worth checking) since it is only on this one site. I would suggest going to the site on a known working pc and making a note of all the browser settings and duplicating these on your pc. It's odd that you should get a DNS failure unless the actual URL of the site is incorrect, which I'm checking now.
OK site URL is right. It opens to:
http://www.manutd.com/home/default.sps
so you could try that address instead as this should still work, though this is far from a satisfactory answer. Make sure the URL is in lower case letters as most unix boxes are case sensitive.
Am looking into this a bit further for you, but am not sure why you can access this through AOL, and why you have it as well as IE? I've heard some real horror stories about AOL over the years, and could quite believe that it has messed up IE for you.
Mark
