I can't access any Internet sites in IE or Firefox. I get the error:"Cannot find server or DNS Error." I am running Windows ME. Everything worked fine until yesterday. I ran several adware/spyware and virus scans and everything is clean. I use high speed access (cable) My desktop is running normal. My wireless card says the signal strength is 100% so I'm online. Any suggestions ????

John,
Just a maybe. Go Start, Run and type; winipcfg Press Enter
Now, on what appears. Click the "More Info >>" (button). There will be a dropdown by "Ethernet Adapter Information". Make sure the proper one/thing is listed. Then click the "Renew" (button). After it gets a new lease, click the OK. Try to use IE/FF now.
If it can't/won't renew. Click the "Release" (button), and then the "Renew" (button). Try to use IE/FF now.
As I said, a maybe ;-)
Good Luck, CrazyOne
