Have you checked your modem? - quite often, your modem can stick. Try ctrl-alt-del and close the Rnaap and try again.

If not, it may be a corrupted Dial up Networking file, or your LAN settings are not configured for your ISP.

Caroline, I don't have a RNAAP when I push crtl alt delete, I have others but not that. If I were having problems with my modem, I don't think I could get this site and some others. Any help would be appreciated. Sue

Sue But I have to tell you I did closed 2 things and went back on the internet and worked fine, that was tweak 1.33 and Oco something that has to do with my scanner recognizing printing. One of these is causing the problem. I'll let you know Sue

Sue try to load a site from the "favorites"
icon in IE.Sometimes this works for me.I had the same problem when I change my homepage.
Also you can try I.E. tools than scroll down to Internet options. Now in that window in
the Home page box, look to see if the home page you used is there if not press the use default button.

Cmmon32 is the Connection Manager plug in for IE5.5. Uninstall this from add/remove programs and see if this helps. My guess, is that this could be the culprit.

You access a dns server via your isp & you pay them money for the privilege. Call them & yell at them until they resolve it!
