Cannot change home page

Inside IE6, when I click on Internet Options it brings up "Restrictions. This action has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer". When I go to Internet Options in Control Panel the homepage box is grayed out. I hvw Windows 98. What'll I do?

hello sounds like you had your home paged hijacked d/l spybot search and destroy update it run it.

g11852, another thought, if you already have Spybot and have run it, you might look at what settings you have selected. If you select 'immunize', Spybot locks your homepage to prevent the hijacking wawadave was talking about and it will stop you from altering it too! HTH. Ed in Texas.
