Cannot boot up!

My bridge boots up, but nothing comes on my screen. I have windows me. And have an intel 866 mhz. With 256 ram. And a 20 gig hard drive. My cd drive works fine. It can open and close, and I keep trying a reboot. And twice last night it came up as cmos battery low. Would this be the only problem? The cmos battery low would prevent me from booting my cpu. And looked inside of it and could not locate the cmos battery. Should I just go out and buy a new cmos battery?

I'd start with that (the battery). It should be relatively eay to locate on your mobo.

Well I tried using an old battery. From a system I tore apart. But that did not seem to help. So I got two good ones. And am going to try them out tonight. I did get into windows last night. But it repeadly froze up. And everytime I shut down the time would be different.
