Open IE and click on Tools/Internet options. Then click on the "advanced" tab. Scroll down to the security section in that column and make sure you have a tick by the following items. Use SSL 2.0 Use SSL 3.0 Use TLS 1.0 Click OK. Then close IE for 10 sec. Then reopen and try to connect to a secure site.

Hi Ken et al,
I too have been experiencing the same problem. However mine is limited to just secure sites, like hotmail, shopping online etc. I am using my server email as it isn't secure and my yahoo email account. I read somehting somewhere that microsoft is aware of isolated cases and will address them only on a one on one basis. Well they never got back to me when I emailed them with my problem. I am thinking of reformating the hardrive. I really don't want to. Anyone with answers or suggestions?
