The problem says Analog Devices 1816 Codec Error Code 10, can someone tell me what code 10 is?

Since my crystal ball is on the fritz and you give no system or component information whatsoever I will guess it's a video or sound crad driver error.

Are you in Device Manager? If so click on "remove" to remove the sound card, reboot, when windows detects the sound card, install the drivers either from the cdrom or from where you downloaded them to.

If that did not work go to the makers web site and check if they have a updated driver.
