By the way, If you do not want see the icons on your desktop,Right click on blank part of desktop,move cursor over active desktop.untick (show desktop icons)to get them back just reverse the process,

G'day Malik, you can but I don't recommend it. But if you really feel you must I insist that you backup this Registry key first and then delete it.

This is your Recycle Bin. If you to want recreate it merge back the *.reg file or create a new folder on your desktop [or in any folder] named ;
You can only delete shortcut icons on the Desktop, deleting other icons will remove the whole application, then your screwed, so dont do that.

I had an idea, you can actually swap it from your Desktop to inside your Control Panel, works ok as far as I can see if you just want it outta site.
