This is an unusual one, when I had 98SE on old computer, a clone 10 gig Maxtor, I used Webcam 32 and things were fine using the applets, I did both stills and video hosted on my site, all my own set up. I don't want to use the web hosted sites such as Webcam Now or Camradares, and such. I prefer to run/host the cam myself. Problem - have new computer running ME, Compaq Presario 5008US, Quantum Fireball 40 gig, Win 2k program works good and Kool Cam works great hosting off your own site, but, I want the video streaming versions for ME, preferably free or low cost as my one and only reliable program dear Webcam 32 is not supported for ME. My last issue - hosting myself, I also want archives, would pay for a good archive program if someone could write same, or if they know of any free programs that would capture an image and send it to the server at specified times during 24 hours, although I don't want a hosted site. I like to run same on my website only. Any help, I know this is unusual. Never knew ME was so finnicky!!!! Thanks!
