Why won't my cable modem on a USB connect on restart, should I just go ahead and install an ethernet card? The cable guy said that it wouldn't affect speed, Thank you.
For some weird reasons, winME seems to have problems with cable connections via USB, it is better to use an ethernet card or install win98 :) , but you probably dont want to go that far.
I'm not saying it doesn't work with winME, but its a lot easyer to use an ethernet card when it starts to go wrong.
