Hey everybody. Just recently (within the last few days) my C drive has stopped working. When I click into "MY COMPUTER" and then "CDRIVE", the resulting window, with my Program Files, Windows, etc folders, never responds. I have to cntrlaltdel and end the task, which then results in the blue error screen, and then I have to manually shut down.
Have run Adaware, Spybot, and McCafee VS and nothing has popped up. Am running Windows ME on a P4 1.66mhz computer with 256 megs of SD ram. Any solutions?

Two things, one - how old is the drive. It could have crashed as they sometimes do.
Two, Chip Creek. I would suggest opening up your case and push the cables back into the drives and the motherboard and make sure the Molex connectors are in (Power Cables).
Also, set your bios to auto detect for Hard disk drives.
