Comment: I have tried burning CD's on my computer which is a rewritable .. ive tried both CD-R and CD-RW disks. They wont play in anything but my DVD player. My cd player is at most 4 years old and ive tried them in nearly new players and nothing.. is there anything i can do?? Im desperate- this is a major part of why i bought my computer.

Reply: (edit)Your CDR's should not exceed 74 minutes or 650 Mo to make sure they can be read in most AM/FM radios with CD drive.Overburning if this is the case is possible for computer use but it will let you down in most other ways.Good luck.

Reply: (edit)Are you burning cds using files from a program like Kazaa or WinMX? If so you could be downloading mp3's when you need wav files. But not to worry this problem is easy to fix. you should have either musicmatch jukebox or adaptec easy cd creator 4. If you have these programs then just go in before you burn something and find out to convert the mp3 files into wav files and you should be set. Have fun burning!
