I don't know if anyone noticed this, but if you go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM you will see a DVD Player application. The only thing is there are no drivers installed. Does anyone know where to get them. Thanks.

I have a DVD player and WinME, but the DVD player that comes with WinME doesn't recognise any DVD that is put into the drive.

That player will only work if you have a hardware decoder card installed for your DVDROM drive or you have pre-installed a software DVD player (i.e. PowerDVD or Intervideo WinDVD) that install the ASPI components. You can then use the software DVD application player or the Windows DVD player.

My software DVD works (QI Cinemaster) but the Windows DVD player does not. The problem is that when I insert a DVD disk it automatically tries to open Windows DVD player and then it locks up. I have to reboot and click on Cinemaster to view the DVD.
