when i start win ME i receive a browseui.dll error and cannot access anything on the pc
can someone help me with this...do i need to start in safe mode to make some type of repair..thanxz for any help

Yes,try booting to safe mode to perform a repair of Internet Explorer and/or a restoration of the registry.You will only have the last five entries(by default)of the registry to choose from unless you have tweaked that setting,however.But,if your problem started before that...
To repair IE,go to Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs,highlight your IE entry and choose to remove.You will then be offered different options...one of which will be to repair.If you never upgraded your original version it may not appear in Add-Remove,so you may have to try Start/Run and type (exactly);
RunDLL32.EXE setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.exe" /g "%SystemRoot%\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
To restore your registry,go to Start/Run and type scanreg /restore...note the space.
