Ever since having broadband installed, any download that's over a couple of megs won't download from ftp sites.

The download just stalls after about 3 seconds...... i still see the paper flying from folder to folder, but the download just hangs.

Any ideas?

If you're using your browser, I've found that the Opera browser handles ftp sites much better than Internet Explorer.

If you installed a firewall when you installed broadband, you may want to check to make sure you have access to FTP sites in the firewall software.
