I hav also read a link that was posted here on how to run windows millenium but my computer still slow i have also defragmented my disk. I cant seem to figerout why i still slow it was alot of faster before any sugestion would greatly be appeciated it.

Upgrade your ram to 512MB.
You should be defragmenting your disk once a week not once a year.
Remove everything from starting with windows in msconfig accept the things needed by windows. You can turn your antivirus on yourself you dont need windows to do it.
delindex.bat will clear out the clutter left over from the internet. Read about it / download it / run it.
Get rid of all the junk software you never use. Go to add and remove programs and eliminate all of it and from now on dont install anything unless your being forced to by the government or aliens or both.
regcleaner.exe read about it / download it/ run it and clear out the useless entries in the registry.
Get rid of screen savers and turn off power management.
Run Windows ME well v.4 offers alot of good advice. If you have already tried this please be specific while describing anything on that page you left out.
Thats all i got.

Dont overlook the obvious; clear out your cache.
